Arab Health 2025 Opens With Landmark 50th Edition In Dubai, Showcasing Global Healthcare Innovations
H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, inaugurated the 2025 Arab Health Exhibition and Congress. This event, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 27th to 30th January, is the largest healthcare industry gathering in the Middle East. Celebrating its 50th edition with the theme ‘Where the World of Healthcare Meets,’ it features over 3,800 exhibitors and expects more than 60,000 visitors.
Sheikh Ahmed highlighted the significant contributions made over five decades that have established Arab Health as a leading global platform for healthcare innovation. He remarked on the impressive regional and international participation, which underscores its influence in transforming healthcare both regionally and globally. "The Arab Health exhibition underlines Dubai’s role as a strategic driver for positive transformations across vital sectors, most notably the health sector," he stated.
The exhibition showcases a wide array of healthcare products and services, reflecting its growth since its inception in 1975 with just over 40 exhibitors. Initially focused on medical products, it has expanded to cover all aspects of healthcare, reaching unprecedented scale last year. This year promises to break previous records with global exhibitors presenting cutting-edge innovations transforming the industry.
Ross Williams, Exhibition Director for Informa Markets, summarised Arab Health's legacy: "During the last five decades, Arab Health has provided a platform for the world of healthcare to meet, facilitate business, and discuss and debate the future of the industry." This year’s event highlights innovation, sustainability, and inclusivity through new conferences and forums.
The two-day Healthcare ESG Forum opened today as part of Arab Health's Eco-Sphere feature. It focuses on integrating ESG principles into healthcare while addressing climate change-related health risks. The Lakers and UCLA Health Experience also began on the sidelines, offering attendees a chance to meet Laker Legends Robert Horry and Michael Cooper while learning from UCLA Health's Sports Medicine team.
Several CME-accredited conferences commenced today at Arab Health. The 25th Total Radiology Conference featured a keynote by Prof. Dr. Giles W. L. Boland from Harvard Medical School on radiology’s future frontier. The Emergency Medicine Conference discussed leadership styles and resuscitation techniques while other conferences covered topics like laser technology in surgery.
