AMMROC And Embraer Join Forces To Enhance Aircraft Support And MRO Solutions For C-390 Millennium

The Advanced Military Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Center (AMMROC) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Embraer Defence & Security. This agreement was formalised during the Dubai Airshow 2025. The MoU aims to explore potential collaboration on the C-390 Millennium, a versatile military transport aircraft.

The partnership seeks to leverage Embraer's expertise in aircraft manufacturing and defence aviation. AMMROC's regional capabilities in advanced maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) will complement this. Together, they aim to improve readiness and operational support for future operators of the C-390 Millennium worldwide.

The MoU outlines plans for both parties to negotiate a long-term business relationship. This would include various technical and support activities such as Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) development, airworthiness services, and engineering solutions. Additionally, it covers aircraft completion services like external painting and systems integration.

In-service support is also part of the agreement, focusing on heavy maintenance, component support, and logistical services. These efforts aim to enhance operational efficiency for future C-390 Millennium users globally.

Jasem Al Marzooqi, CEO of AMMROC, stated that the MoU is a crucial step in expanding AMMROC's capabilities through cooperation with a leading aircraft manufacturer. He noted that this collaboration reinforces their shared vision of providing comprehensive maintenance and support solutions to ensure mission readiness locally and beyond.
