Amina Hospital Ajman Half Marathon Scheduled For December 29, 2024 With Multiple Distances And Prizes

The Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) has announced the 5th 'Amina Hospital - Ajman Half Marathon.' This event, organised by Endurance Sports Services Company, is set for 29th December 2024 at Al Safia Park. Known as a major sports event in the emirate, it features a main course of 21.1 km and additional distances of 10 km, 5 km, and 2.6 km for all ages and abilities.

With AED 24,000 in total prize money, the marathon includes both open and Emirati categories for men and women. This race concludes a year full of achievements for ATDD. It highlights their commitment to promoting Ajman's sports tourism and enhancing its reputation as a sports destination.

Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director-General of ATDD, stated that the race supports community events that boost sports and social activities in Ajman. "This race aligns with our keenness to organise community events that enhance sports and social activities in the emirate and contribute to highlighting its position as a leading destination for sports tourism," he said.

The event also aligns with Ajman Vision 2030 and leadership directives supporting sports and community activities. Alhashmi emphasised the role of sports in boosting tourism, spreading happiness, and improving life quality in society.

Mohammed Ali Abdullah from Amina Hospital expressed enthusiasm about partnering with ATDD again. "We are excited to reinforce our partnership with Ajman Tourism Development Department, especially in light of the remarkable success of previous editions of the race," he noted. The annual event underscores their dedication to health awareness and strengthening Ajman's healthcare sector.

The marathon is sponsored by Etihad Water and Electricity with support from various partners like Ajman Police, Ajman Municipality, Zayed Knights Team, Majid Studio for Artistic Production, Gulfa Water, Coral Beach Resort Sharjah, Bahi Ajman Palace Hotel, Vitamin Well, Infinity Fitness, Ajman Hotel, Healthy and Tasty, Ramada Hotel & Suites by Wyndham Ajman, and Ajman Saray.
