AlUla To Host Inaugural Instagram Creators Summit In MENA From April 20-22
AlUla is preparing to host the inaugural "Instagram Creators Summit" in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Scheduled from April 20 to 22, this event is organized by Meta in collaboration with the Royal Commission for AlUla, the Saudi Tourism Authority, and Riyadh Air. This summit will gather top content creators globally, marking a significant milestone for the region.
The summit's agenda includes interactive panel discussions, keynote speeches, and conversations about the future of content creation. Topics such as social media, artificial intelligence, and the evolving digital landscape will be covered. These creators collectively reach over 231 million followers worldwide, emphasizing influencer marketing's growing role in travel destinations today.

Participants will engage in sessions on utilizing platform tools effectively, exploring technical updates, and identifying new opportunities within the creator economy. Interactive dialogues will allow direct engagement with Meta’s product managers. Open forums will encourage sharing expertise and building strong collaborations among creators.
This summit offers a unique chance to gain insights, connect with industry leaders, and stay at the forefront of the ever-changing digital scene. AlUla aims to showcase its vision of blending cultural heritage preservation with digital innovation through discussions on safeguarding cultural identity amid rapid digital transformation.
AlUla continues to demonstrate its ability to evolve while remaining rooted in its past—a city renewed through time where heritage and innovation progress together. Throughout the summit, content creators will experience AlUla's natural beauty and rich legacy, spanning over 200,000 years of human history and 7,000 years of continuous civilizations.
Participants will explore iconic archaeological landmarks such as Hegra—the first UNESCO World Heritage Site in Saudi Arabia—AlUla Old Town, and Madrasat Addeera. The latter serves as a hub for crafts, culture, and creativity within the AlJadidah Arts District.
This event presents an exceptional opportunity for attendees to gain insights into content creation trends while experiencing AlUla's unique blend of history and modernity firsthand.
