Alef Group Launches Pink Hope Journey To Promote Breast Cancer Awareness In Sharjah
Alef Group, a prominent real estate developer in Sharjah, has initiated the "Pink Hope Journey." This breast cancer awareness campaign is in partnership with Friends of Cancer Patients and the Sharjah Classic Cars Club. The initiative aims to highlight the importance of early detection and support for those affected by breast cancer.
The journey featured the Pink Caravan, which started at the Sharjah Supreme Council for Family Affairs. It then moved to Al Mamsha and ended at Zero 6 Mall, where a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held. The event was attended by Alef Group CEO Issa Ataya, Badr Al Jaaidi from Friends of Cancer Patients, and Ahmed Saif bin Handal from the Sharjah Old Cars Museum.

Following the ceremony, free breast cancer screenings were offered to volunteers. This highlighted the critical role of early detection in combating breast cancer. Many community members participated, taking advantage of these free examinations provided by the Pink Caravan.
Issa Ataya expressed that corporate social responsibility is central to Alef Group's mission. He stated, "The 'Pink Hope Journey' reflects our dedication to supporting the Sharjah community by raising awareness about breast cancer and promoting early detection." Collaborating with Friends of Cancer Patients and the Sharjah Classic Cars Club has enhanced their efforts significantly.
Badr Al Jaaidi announced a significant achievement for the Pink Caravan this year. In October alone, over 14,000 free breast cancer screenings were conducted, surpassing previous records. This milestone underscores the impact of their ongoing efforts in raising awareness and providing essential health services.
Ahmed Saif bin Handal remarked on their involvement: "Our participation in this journey reaffirms our commitment to supporting community initiatives aimed at promoting health awareness within our society." His statement highlights their dedication to fostering a healthier community through active participation in such initiatives.
The event successfully engaged many attendees who benefited from the free screenings. This demonstrates strong community support for health awareness campaigns like the "Pink Hope Journey," which play a vital role in encouraging proactive health measures among residents.
