ALECSO General Conference Commends Saudi Arabia For Nurturing Talent In Arab World

The 27th session of the Arab League Educational, Cultural, and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), held in Jeddah and presided over by Saudi Arabia, highlighted the Gifted Arabs Initiative. This initiative, organized by the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) in collaboration with ALECSO, has significantly supported talented individuals across Arab countries.

During the ALECSO General Conference, appreciation was expressed for the Gifted Arabs Initiative, which has fostered an encouraging environment for talent and creativity in the Arab world for three consecutive years. The recognition took place in the presence of Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan, Minister of Education and Vice Chairman of the Saudi National Committee for Education, Culture, and Science, along with ministers and heads of national committees from 22 Arab countries.

The Gifted Arabs Initiative exemplifies Saudi Arabia's dedication to sharing its advanced experience in discovering and nurturing talented students with the Arab world. It supports Arab youth in harnessing their energies and capabilities through a specialized assessment designed to identify talented and creative individuals within the diverse Arab environment and culture.

This assessment is grounded in a scientific methodology that incorporates the best global educational practices. Additionally, it involves supporting identified students through a variety of high-quality programs offered both in-person within Saudi Arabia and remotely, all free of charge.

The initiative's success underscores Saudi Arabia's commitment to educational excellence and its role in promoting talent development across the Arab region. The collaborative efforts between Mawhiba and ALECSO have created a robust framework for nurturing young talents, ensuring they receive the necessary support to thrive.
