Aldar Achieves Complete Sell-Out Of Al Deem Townhomes To UAE Nationals Generating AED 1.8 Billion

Aldar has announced that all 450 townhomes at Al Deem, a new Emirati community on Yas Island's northeast, have been sold. The sales exceeded AED1.8 billion, showing strong demand for quality family communities among Emiratis. Aldar remains committed to providing homes that meet the diverse needs of Abu Dhabi residents.

Al Deem's townhomes offer various sizes and are designed to blend modern living with traditional Emirati values. Among these are 26 unique live-work homes that integrate residential and commercial spaces. These homes cater to entrepreneurs and creatives who wish to run cafés, art studios, or boutiques within their community.

Aldar Sells Out Al Deem Townhomes

The live-work homes concept is new to the UAE and has attracted significant interest from buyers. This highlights a growing demand for housing options that support entrepreneurial lifestyles. Such innovative solutions reflect changing preferences in the real estate market.

In terms of buyer demographics, 68% of the sales were made by male buyers, while females accounted for 32%. First-time Aldar buyers represented 56% of the total sales, with repeat customers making up the remaining 44%. Notably, 63% of purchasers plan to reside in Al Deem.

Al Deem is part of a well-planned master community offering numerous amenities like a mosque, schools, a health centre, parks, and retail outlets. Residents will also benefit from two new bridges connecting Al Deem directly to Yas Island for easy access to entertainment and leisure activities.

The community's strategic location ensures proximity to Zayed International Airport and major cities like Abu Dhabi and Dubai. This connectivity enhances its appeal as a desirable place to live for many families.

A significant portion of buyers, 64%, are under the age of 45, indicating a youthful demographic interested in modern living spaces. Additionally, 84% of buyers currently reside in Abu Dhabi, while the rest come from other Emirates within the UAE.

The successful sell-out at Al Deem underscores Aldar's ability to deliver high-quality residential projects that resonate with local buyers' preferences. The development's focus on family-friendly environments aligns with broader trends in urban planning and real estate development.
