Aldar Awards AED66 Billion Development Contracts Across The UAE In 2025
Aldar plans AED66 billion of development contracts in 2025 across the UAE, covering residential, commercial, logistics, and infrastructure schemes. The programme highlights Aldar’s continuing role in delivering large projects that align with national economic, industrial, and social priorities, while also responding to current real estate demand across Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah, and key logistics hubs.
Almost 45 percent of this planned spending, equal to AED30 billion, is expected to circulate inside the UAE economy under the National In-Country Value (ICV) Programme. This supports diversification, industrial activity, and local employment, and reflects Aldar’s policy of prioritising UAE-based suppliers and contractors when awarding construction and related service work.

The 2025 Aldar development contracts UAE pipeline includes large housing communities, Grade A office and logistics buildings, and strategic infrastructure in fast-growing locations. These schemes will add thousands of new homes and modern industrial units, while also building key public infrastructure. Together, they are designed to address demand trends and contribute to more sustainable urban growth across the country.
Aldar continues to embed ICV rules into procurement decisions, with all appointed contractors required to hold valid ICV certification. Suppliers must also comply with Aldar’s sustainability benchmarks. This approach is intended to support domestic capability across the construction value chain and strengthen supply chain resilience, while keeping environmental and social standards at the centre of project delivery.
| Year / Metric | Value (AED billion) |
|---|---|
| 2025 contract awards | 66 |
| 2025 ICV contribution from contracts | 30 |
| Total ICV reinvestment since 2020 | 67 |
| ICV in programme’s first year | 0.25 |
In Abu Dhabi, Aldar development contracts UAE activity covers both Aldar-led and government-related projects. Aldar development contracts UAE: Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah, industry, and logistics
Within Dubai, Aldar development contracts UAE plans focus on major residential communities and logistics assets. Ginco General Contracting is building villas and townhouses at Athlon, while Nurol LLC is leading the main works at Verdes by Haven. Mohammed Abdulmohsin Al Kharafi & Sons for General Trading and Contracting W.L.L. is delivering villas at The Wilds, with Al Nasr Contracting Company L.L.C. responsible for related infrastructure.
Industrial and logistics projects include Aldar Logistics Centres at National Industries Park, awarded to Amana Contracting. In Ras Al Khaimah, Shapoorji Pallonji holds contracts for the Al Marjan Beachfront development, reflecting Aldar’s larger footprint in the northern emirate and extending the geographic range of its 2025 programme beyond Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
Adel Albreiki, Chief Executive Officer of Aldar Projects, said, "The value of contracts awarded by Aldar in 2025 underscores the continued pace of development across the UAE and our role in delivering assets that contribute to long-term economic growth and social prosperity," He added, "With AED66 billion awarded, almost half of which will flow back into the local economy, these projects will support thousands of jobs, strengthen local supply chains, and accelerate the delivery of critical residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments. By working closely with leading UAE-based contractors, we are building local capacity while maintaining the highest standards of quality, sustainability, and delivery."
Since the ICV programme launched in 2020, Aldar has reinvested AED67 billion in the UAE economy, rising from AED0.25 billion in the first year to AED30 billion attributed in 2025. Working with the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT), Aldar also runs the region’s first Sustainability Incentive Programme for suppliers, which ties financial and non-financial rewards to sustainability outcomes, supporting the UAE’s Net Zero by 2050 target.
The 2025 Aldar development contracts UAE plan therefore links large-scale real estate and logistics growth with national aims on localisation, employment, industry, and climate action. By engaging a broad contractor base and applying ICV and sustainability requirements, Aldar is aligning commercial development with long-term policy goals, while continuing to expand its portfolio across multiple emirates.
