Al Tadawi 1 Secures Victory Against Al Hilal In Nad Al Sheba Sports Tournament Final

Al Tadawi 1 emerged victorious in the volleyball finals, defeating Al Hilal 3-0 with scores of 25-23, 25-20, and 25-21. This triumph took place during the closing night of the 12th Nad Al Sheba Sports Tournament at a packed indoor stadium at the Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex. The team, featuring players from Russia's Dynamo Moscow, displayed a dominant performance.

Al Hilal initially kept pace with Al Tadawi 1 in the first set, matching them point for point. However, they faltered when tied at 23-23, allowing Al Tadawi to clinch the set at 25-23. In the subsequent sets, Anton Semyshev's exceptional play was pivotal. He delivered two serves and three blocks, becoming the top scorer with 17 points as Al Tadawi secured victory in straight sets.

Al Tadawi 1 Wins Nad Al Sheba Tournament

The winners were celebrated by Khalfan Belhoul, Vice Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council. Other dignitaries present included Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri and Abdullah bin Damithan. The Al Tadawi team received gold medals and a trophy along with AED600,000. Meanwhile, Al Hilal earned silver medals and AED500,000.

Al Ameed claimed the bronze medal after defeating Al Samawi 3-1 on the previous night. Individual accolades were also distributed: Andrea Marquespo from Al Hilal won Best Receiver; Maxim Sabshkov from Al Tadawi was named Best Server; Dmitry Zhuk from Al Tadawi received Best Blocker; Anton Gavarina from Al Samawi was awarded Best Hitter; and Dusan Petkovic from Al Hilal was recognised as Best Scorer.

Pablo Arriber and Cesar Freire triumphed in the UAE Padel Federation Local 20 Championship. They defeated Sheikh Saeed bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum and Javi Santonja in the final match. The winners were honoured by Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Sports, alongside Khalfan Belhoul and Hassan Al Mazrouei.

This year's Nad Al Sheba Sports Tournament marked its twelfth edition as one of the largest events of its kind. The tournament concluded with memorable performances across various sports disciplines, showcasing talent from around the world.
