Al Seer Marine Introduces Comprehensive AI Transformation Strategy For Enhanced Maritime Operations

Al Seer Marine, part of IHC, is advancing its operations with a new AI strategy. This plan integrates AI into shipbuilding, unmanned surface vessels (USVs), fleet management, and logistics. The company aims to enhance automation and operational efficiency. Al Seer Marine has also introduced NOVA, an AI-powered Board Observer, marking a first in the UAE maritime sector.

NOVA, developed by Aleria, transforms diverse data into strategic insights for Al Seer Marine's board. It uses AI to learn continuously, detect anomalies, and provide predictive insights. This empowers the board with intelligent oversight that enhances vessel readiness and operational safety.

The introduction of NOVA signifies a significant step in Al Seer Marine's AI journey. "AI is becoming foundational to Al Seer Marine’s operational DNA," said Guy Neivens, CEO of Al Seer Marine. He highlighted how AI integration across various operations maximises efficiency and improves safety.

NOVA enhances board engagement by enabling live queries and scenario modelling. It processes structured and unstructured data from ERP systems, spreadsheets, databases, and market feeds to support faster decision-making.

Eric Leandri, CEO of Aleria, stated that NOVA ensures Al Seer Marine's leadership can address challenges with precision. "With the deployment of Al Seer Marine’s NOVA AI Observer powered by Aleria, we continue our commitment to practical AI solutions that enhance efficiency," he said.

NOVA builds on IHC's success with Aiden Insight, launched in 2024 and evolved in 2025 as the UAE’s first sovereign AI Board Observer. It offers visibility into capital structure and predictive fleet performance within the maritime domain.
