Al-Jouf Equestrian Square Celebrates 37 Years Of Promoting Equestrian Sports And Talent Development

Equestrian Square in Al-Jouf, established in 1409 AH, has been pivotal in advancing equestrian sports in the region. It has a rich history of competitions and focuses on developing talent, significantly contributing to training skilled riders and horses. The square is situated on Prince Abdulelah bin Abdulaziz Road in Skaka and covers over two million square meters.

The Equestrian Field includes horse stables, a main track, a viewing platform, and a building. Currently, 164 stables operate within its premises, attracting horse owners and riders. The square is known for producing successful riders and trainers who excel in both local and national competitions.

Renowned for breeding purebred Arabian horses, the square reflects the passion and dedication of its owners. This focus on quality breeding has helped maintain the prestige of Arabian horses in the region. The commitment to excellence is evident in the success stories emerging from this venue.

To enhance the equestrian experience further, training academies for men and women are available at the square. These academies are led by experienced Saudi trainers who provide opportunities for individuals of all ages to learn horse riding and develop their skills.

The Governor of Al-Jouf Region and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Equestrian Square, Prince Faisal bin Nawwaf bin Abdulaziz, has generously supported the square. This support includes significant funding for competitions and activities, ensuring that events are well-organised and successful.

The upcoming season promises to be exciting with 20 celebrations planned. Over 150 owners and 300 horses are expected to participate, showcasing the vibrant equestrian community that thrives at Equestrian Square.
