Al Dhaid Agriculture Exhibition Showcases Innovation In Farming And Livestock At Expo Al Dhaid
The third edition of the Al Dhaid Agriculture Exhibition has wrapped up at Expo Al Dhaid, drawing thousands of specialists, investors, and policy makers from across the agricultural value chain. Over four days, the event highlighted how new farming systems, livestock technologies, and sustainable water solutions can support food security goals and environmental priorities in the UAE and wider region.
Organised by Expo Centre Sharjah, with support from the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and in cooperation with the Sharjah Department of Agriculture and Livestock, the exhibition is recognised as the first dedicated agriculture event of its kind in the region. The latest edition hosted more than 40 major agriculture and livestock companies, alongside productive families and government bodies.

The Al Dhaid Agriculture Exhibition served as a focused meeting place for companies, farmers, and government entities to exchange knowledge and build partnerships. Participants accessed expert advice spanning crop cultivation, aquaculture, ornamental horticulture, mechanisation and equipment, agrifinance, consultancy, training, apiculture, and food processing and packaging, helping visitors review new models that may suit local farm conditions.
Exhibitors demonstrated a wide portfolio of farming technologies and services. Displays covered wheat and grain production systems, hydroponic units, vertical farming structures, and modern irrigation and horticulture tools. Companies also presented greenhouse construction and maintenance services, alongside packaging solutions, logistics offerings, and integrated supply chain management systems aimed at improving post-harvest handling and product quality.
Livestock technologies formed a major part of the Al Dhaid Agriculture Exhibition programme. Stands highlighted aquaculture production systems, poultry farming solutions, apiculture tools, and advanced livestock breeding approaches. Alongside these were demonstrations of heavy agricultural machinery, improved storage facilities, and crop protection products, including pest management solutions designed to protect yields while using resources more efficiently.
The showcase placed strong attention on water management and climate resilience, topics of high relevance to farms in the UAE and Middle East. Exhibitors promoted innovative water treatment units, smart water-use efficiency systems, and diversified seed varieties suitable for different environments. These offerings targeted both large commercial operations and smaller family-run farms seeking to manage limited water supplies more carefully.
Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, stated that the third edition of the Al Dhaid Agriculture Exhibition successfully reinforced its position as a premier platform for advancing the UAE’s agricultural sector. Al Midfa also noted that the exhibition reflects Sharjah’s strategic approach to supporting food security and promoting environmental sustainability through the adoption of innovative agricultural technologies and solutions.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Musabah Al Tunaiji, Director of Expo Al Dhaid, said the Al Dhaid Agriculture Exhibition successfully delivered a comprehensive experience combining specialised showcases with knowledge-driven content. Al Tunaiji explained that the exhibition facilitated professional engagement among agriculture and livestock companies, farmers, and industry stakeholders, enabling participants to explore practical models and modern methodologies that enhance productivity and operational efficiency in agricultural operations and enterprises.
Panel sessions ran across the four days, exploring technical topics such as the cultivation of medicinal and ornamental plants, as well as fruit and vegetable production. Speakers shared research on new high-yield, climate-resilient crop varieties, offering stakeholders insights to improve local production sustainability and better withstand environmental pressures, reinforcing the exhibition’s role as a knowledge hub for the UAE agricultural sector.
