Al Barakah Dates Factory leads in sustainability as the first solar-powered dates factory worldwide. With over 6,500 solar panels installed, it reduces around 3,000 tons of CO₂ emissions annually. This initiative highlights its commitment to environmental responsibility.
The factory also plays a crucial role in humanitarian efforts by supporting initiatives like the "One Billion Meals Endowment" and partnering with the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives Foundation. It regularly donates to UAE food banks and supports campaigns during Ramadan.
