Eagle Hills And Al Ain City Municipality Launch New Development For Al Ain Oasis

Eagle Hills, in collaboration with Al Ain City Municipality, has launched a significant development for Al Ain Oasis. This initiative aims to transform the historic landscape into a tranquil destination open all year round. Visitors can enjoy unique outdoor dining experiences amidst lush greenery and communal spaces enhanced by custom light installations that illuminate the area after sunset, creating an engaging atmosphere.

Al Ain Oasis, known for its iconic palm groves and ancient falaj waterways, is being reimagined as a vibrant cultural hub. The project integrates heritage, nature, and modern visitor experiences. A key feature is the new Elevated Walkway, offering visitors exceptional views above the palm canopy while maintaining the farms below. Additionally, a newly constructed Watchtower provides expansive views of this cherished natural site.

New Development for Al Ain Oasis Unveiled

The oasis will feature tech-enhanced pathways that create an inviting atmosphere for exploration, especially at night. Families and visitors can enjoy serene walks through curated landscapes like the Reflection, Ripple, and Mist Gardens. These shaded areas are inspired by the site's natural beauty and encourage moments of relaxation and community interaction.

Throughout the destination, thoughtful elements such as hammocks, seating areas, and food and beverage concepts rooted in Emirati culture enhance authenticity. These additions ensure every aspect feels timeless and deeply connected to local traditions.

Mohamed Alabbar, Chairman of Eagle Hills, stated: "Al Ain Oasis is one of the most sacred landscapes in our nation’s memory, and a true natural and cultural treasure. Our aim is to reinforce Al Ain Oasis as a cultural anchor and an unforgettable destination that every visitor will hold close to their hearts."

Rashed Musabbeh Al Manei from Al Ain City Municipality remarked on the project's importance: "The ‘Al Ain Oasis’ project represents an important milestone in showcasing the historical and environmental value of the oasis and enhancing its presence as a leading cultural and tourism destination."

Tourism Strategy Alignment

This development aligns with Abu Dhabi's Tourism Strategy 2030 goals. The strategy promotes Al Ain Region as a living oasis and top travel spot for culture, wellness, and adventure. By 2030, it aims to attract around 520,000 overnight leisure hotel guests to the region.

For generations, Al Ain Oasis has been central to the city's identity with its palm groves, traditional farms, and unique falaj systems. Today it remains one of the UAE's most valued landscapes where nature meets heritage seamlessly.
