Al Ain Book Festival 2024 Pavilions 75% Booked In First Week
The Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre (ALC) announced that 75 percent of pavilions for the Al Ain Book Festival 2024 were booked within a week of opening registrations. The 15th edition of the festival is scheduled from 18th to 24th November at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain.
For the first time, the festival offers a 10 percent discount to exhibitors and participants who register before 16 August. Registration will close on 19 September. This initiative aims to support publishing houses, increase their participation, and provide a platform to showcase new releases.

The event format is refreshed annually, celebrating Emirati and Arab creatives with innovative activities targeting families, youth, and children. This aligns with Abu Dhabi's vision to promote culture, establish cultural connections, and strengthen the status of the Arabic language.
Saeed Hamdan Al Tunaiji, Executive Director of the ALC, stated, "With its rich calendar of events, the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre seeks to strengthen partnerships with publishing houses and provide ample opportunities to support them." He added that early registration aims to ease participation for publishing houses and exhibitors.
Last year's festival saw 150 exhibitors presenting around 60,000 books and publications across various fields. The event attracted over 95,000 visitors who enjoyed a diverse agenda of 400 activities and events. Additionally, there were more than 500 workshops and educational shows for children and youth.
Festival's Vision
The festival's vision includes promoting authors and creators while facilitating their access to a wider audience. The ALC aims to develop the publishing industry and promote culture within the community through such initiatives.
The Al Ain Book Festival continues to be an ideal platform for showcasing new literary works. It also promotes cultural engagement among different societies while highlighting the importance of the Arabic language.
This year's edition promises an engaging experience for all attendees with its refreshed format and diverse range of activities. The ALC remains committed to supporting the publishing industry through strategic initiatives like early registration discounts.
The upcoming festival is expected to build on last year's success by offering even more opportunities for cultural exchange and literary promotion. The ALC's efforts aim to make this event a significant cultural milestone in Abu Dhabi's calendar.
