Al-Ahsa Showcases Key Initiatives At UNESCO Creative Cities Conference In France
Creative Al-Ahsa recently participated in the 17th Annual Conference of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN) in Enghien-les-Bains, near Paris. The event, held from June 23 to 24, gathered representatives from over 350 cities worldwide. Led by Mayor Eng. Essam Al-Mulla, the Al-Ahsa delegation actively engaged in discussions and received significant attention for its contributions.
The conference provided an opportunity for Al-Ahsa to highlight its initiatives in handicrafts and folk arts. These efforts have successfully integrated creativity into sustainable development strategies. Mayor Al-Mulla emphasized the uniqueness of this year's participation, noting the engagement, content, and outcomes achieved.

During a special session with other mayors of creative cities, Mayor Al-Mulla discussed creativity's role in preserving heritage and strengthening local identity.
