Crown Prince Of Ajman Unveils 'Ajman Vision 2030' For A Sustainable And Inclusive Future

Under the auspices of H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, the emirate of Ajman has embarked on a strategic journey towards a sustainable and inclusive future with the launch of "Ajman Vision 2030". This initiative, unveiled by H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, sets a comprehensive roadmap aimed at enhancing the quality of life, developing skilled human resources, and ensuring economic, social, and environmental sustainability. The unveiling ceremony saw the presence of distinguished officials and members of the community, signifying the collective commitment to this ambitious plan.

During the event, Sheikh Ammar highlighted the UAE's dedication to nurturing a future-ready society and economy. He pointed out the focus on leveraging innovative technologies and cultivating a proficient workforce to position the UAE among the leading nations globally. Furthermore, he reiterated Ajman's ruler's dedication to fostering an economically, socially, and environmentally sustainable future.

The foundation of Ajman Vision 2030 rests on eight core principles: sustainability, inclusivity, community centrality, governmental agility, future preparedness, accountability, cooperation, and unity. These principles are designed to steer the emirate's development efforts up to 2030, focusing on balanced growth and impactful initiatives.

A significant goal of this vision is to quadruple artistic, cultural, and sports activities by 2030. It also aims to engage the youth—constituting 36% of Ajman's population—through dedicated policies and programs. The strategy includes initiatives for nurturing young leaders, enhancing support for children and women, revising the urban plan of Ajman, and boosting investment in leisure and tourism.

Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan lauded the vision for its commitment to improving citizens' lives and spotlighted efforts to develop the Masfout region with better infrastructure, services, and employment opportunities. Sheikh Ahmed bin Humaid Al Nuaimi praised Ajman Vision 2030 as a blueprint for holistic and enduring development across economic, human, cultural, infrastructural, and environmental domains.

Other officials echoed support for the vision's alignment with national strategies and its focus on human development and superior community services. Dr. Saeed Saif Al Matrooshi underscored human development as a priority and highlighted collaborative efforts across government entities and the private sector towards realizing these ambitious goals.

Ajman Vision 2030 is set to bolster the business landscape, cultivate a skilled workforce, enhance livability and attractiveness, promote arts and culture, and ensure sustainable transportation solutions. It also aims at environmental preservation, fostering a cohesive society, and transforming governmental operations into more dynamic and innovative processes.
