Ajman University Celebrates Academic Excellence At Honors Assembly For Students And Partners
Ajman University recently celebrated its exceptional students, faculty, staff, partners, and stakeholders at an Honors Assembly held at the Sheikh Zayed Center for Conferences and Exhibitions on campus. The event highlighted excellence, innovation, and collaboration, reinforcing the university's status as a leading institution in the UAE and the Arab region.
Dr. Karim Seghir, Chancellor of Ajman University, remarked on the significance of the annual event. He stated, "The annual Honors Assembly at Ajman University demonstrates excellence in higher education at its best. Bringing unique and innovative methods to excel in teaching, academics, research, industry collaboration, and societal impact, Ajman University, together with its esteemed partners, is crossing newer milestones of academic excellence and contributing to the UAE’s vision of a knowledge-driven society."

Over 750 undergraduate students from various colleges received Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals for their outstanding achievements. These awards recognised their academic excellence and creativity on a global scale. The faculty awards were equally notable. Seventeen faculty members were acknowledged for being among the top 2 percent of scientists worldwide by Stanford University.
Prof. Sai Boddu received special recognition for his Highly Cited Researcher Award from Clarivate. Other faculty accolades included excellence in teaching, research, service excellence, internationalisation efforts, instructor excellence, adjunct faculty excellence, managerial excellence, staff excellence, support service excellence, and alumni engagement.
The Honors Assembly also spotlighted stakeholder awards. Aafaq Islamic Finance was named Top Corporate Strategic Partner. The Department of Finance from the Government of Ajman earned the Top Public Sector Employer award. Tafaseel was recognised as the Top Employer in the Private Sector.
AW Rostamani Group received the Societal Impact Award for its contributions. Rashid Hamad Al Hamar was honoured with the Top Individual Strategic Partner Award for his significant contributions to the university through Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla Charitable and Humanitarian Establishment.
These recognitions underscore Ajman University's dedication to academic distinction and internationalisation. The institution remains focused on nurturing talent and enhancing employability as a world-class incubator.
