Ajman Tourism Introduces Two Unique Emirati-Crafted Experiences For Sustainable Growth

The Ajman Department of Tourism Development has introduced two distinct tourism experiences under the "Tourism Experiences Training Program." This initiative aims to enhance Ajman's tourism offerings, encourage Emirati talent in the sector, and align with sustainable and digital innovation goals. The selected experiences, crafted by Abdullah Al Ali and Mariam Al Hamrani, focus on Masfout's hidden gems, aiming to empower the local community and boost Ajman's role in national tourism.

Abdullah Al Ali and Mariam Al Hamrani are dedicated to presenting innovative tourism concepts. Their ideas promote cultural exploration, personal development, and local involvement. These efforts position Ajman as a significant player in the tourism industry. The experiences they offer include a two-day visit to Masfout, where tourists can explore various landmarks and participate in activities like hiking and meditation.

Ajman Launches Emirati-Crafted Tourism Experiences

Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director-General of the Ajman Department of Tourism Development, expressed the department's commitment to youth empowerment through these initiatives. He stated, "Through the training programmes and tourism initiatives we offer, we aim to motivate the younger generation, engage them in the country's tourism sector, and invest in local human talents and abilities. This contributes to creating new and innovative job opportunities for them, while instilling a more youthful and dynamic spirit filled with creativity and passion."

Khadija Mohammed Turki, an expert in Tourism Marketing at the department, highlighted the programme's focus areas. She said it encourages environmentally friendly initiatives by preserving Ajman's historical character and traditional crafts. Turki noted that this approach motivates community members to contribute to tourism development through activities that support sustainable growth.

The selected experiences include visits to local museums and farms. Tourists can also walk through ancient water channels known as Aflaaj. Additionally, they spend a day with local families from Masfout. These activities aim to provide an immersive cultural experience while promoting social empowerment within the community.

The programme reflects Ajman's dedication to enriching its tourism sector by investing in local talent.
