Ajman Department Of Tourism Development Launches Roadshow In Eastern Europe To Boost Tourism Cooperation
The Ajman Department of Tourism Development (ADTD) has embarked on a promotional roadshow across Eastern Europe. This initiative aims to position Ajman as a top global tourist destination. The tour, led by Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director-General of ADTD, will run from 26th to 31st October 2025. Key stops include Warsaw, Budapest, and Prague.
During the roadshow, the delegation plans to engage with prominent tourism stakeholders and travel agencies in these European markets. The goal is to explore collaboration opportunities and expand international partnerships. This effort aims to showcase Ajman’s unique tourism offerings and investment potential.

Alhashmi highlighted that this initiative is part of ADTD's strategy to enhance its presence in high-potential markets. He stated, "This tour marks a pivotal milestone in our journey to broaden our network of international partners and open new avenues of collaboration with emerging European markets."
He further explained that the department is committed to positioning Ajman as a leading tourism destination. By offering a blend of authentic Emirati heritage and modern sophistication, they aim to deliver experiences that resonate with today’s travelers.
The roadshow also seeks to tap into the growing interest from Eastern European tourists in UAE destinations. These tourists are drawn by the rich cultural and entertainment offerings available. The initiative will help raise awareness about Ajman’s unique appeal, combining heritage with contemporary attractions.
This increased interest has already resulted in higher hotel occupancy rates and demand for rooms in Ajman. There has been a noticeable rise in overnight stays compared to previous years, indicating a positive trend for the emirate's tourism sector.
Fostering Strategic Partnerships
The roadshow aims to explore new partnership opportunities with leading tourism companies in Poland, Hungary, and the Czech Republic. It also seeks to promote the exchange of tourism marketing expertise. This aligns with ADTD’s vision for sustainable tourism development and enhancing economic growth contributions.
Alhashmi added that targeted initiatives are being implemented to diversify source markets and elevate Ajman's appeal as a hub for premium hospitality and tourism investment. He expressed confidence that this tour would forge strategic partnerships supporting sustainable tourism development goals.
The roadshow coincides with an increased influx of tourists from Eastern Europe to Ajman. This reflects positively on hotel occupancy rates and demand for rooms, showcasing the emirate's growing appeal as a tourist destination.
