In a significant development for healthcare in Ajman, His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, received a comprehensive briefing on the Al Safia Hospital project. The briefing took place at the Emiri Court, highlighting the project's pivotal role in enhancing medical services in the region. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Ajman Executive Council, was also present during the presentation, underlining the project's importance to the Ajman leadership.
The project details were presented by Dr. Haqi Ismail, Director of the Al Ihsan Medical Complex, who outlined the hospital's ambitious plans to cater to around 16,000 patients across various specialties, including surgical operations. Dr. Ismail emphasized the hospital's commitment to providing high-quality healthcare to all individuals, regardless of their financial status. He highlighted the focus on assisting those in need, such as the poor, those with limited income, dependents of the Al Ihsan Charity Association, and emergency cases, by offering them comprehensive medical support.

The Al Safia Hospital, with a projected completion date by the end of 2025 and an investment of Dh63 million, promises to be a state-of-the-art facility. The hospital's structure includes a ground floor dedicated to outpatient and radiology clinics, and three additional floors. These encompass a variety of critical services, including inpatient care, major operations with an initial capacity of 24 beds, a laboratory and central sterilization floor, and a specialized kidney clinic, ensuring a broad spectrum of medical services.
The Ajman Ruler expressed his affirmation of the vital role this hospital will play in meeting the healthcare needs of patients, adhering to the highest healthcare standards and aligning with the strategic directions of the UAE. He lauded charitable work as a foundational principle initiated by the UAE's Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and continuously supported by the UAE's leadership. This project is seen as an extension of the nation's commitment to providing comprehensive and high-quality healthcare, thereby ensuring the well-being of the community.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Ali Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Al Ihsan Charity Association, also remarked on the project's significance. He pointed out the success of the Ihsan Medical Complex in delivering healthcare and treatment services as a catalyst for the association's decision to further expand healthcare services through the Charitable One-Day Surgery Hospital Project, marking it as the first initiative of its kind in Ajjan.
The presentation was attended by several Sheikhs and officials, indicating the broad support and high expectations for the Al Safia Hospital project. This initiative is poised to significantly enhance the healthcare landscape in Ajman, offering advanced medical services to a wide segment of the population and reinforcing the emirate's commitment to the health and well-being of its residents.
