Ajman's Ruler Frees 314 Prisoners In Time For Ramadan, Emphasizing Second Chances

In a compassionate move ahead of the Holy Month of Ramadan, H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, has mandated the release of 314 prisoners from punitive and correctional facilities in Ajman. This decision reflects the ruler's commitment to offering these individuals a fresh start and the opportunity to reunite with their families during this significant period.

The selected inmates, hailing from various nationalities, were chosen for their exemplary conduct and behaviour during their sentences. This initiative underscores the Ajman Ruler's dedication to fostering a sense of hope and joy among families by allowing these prisoners to begin anew.

Major General Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police, conveyed his profound gratitude towards the Ruler of Ajman for this merciful act. He emphasized that this gesture is not only about freeing the individuals but also about providing them with a chance to positively reintegrate into society. The Major General assured that the procedures for the prisoners' release would commence without delay, ensuring a swift return to their loved ones.
