Ajman Municipality Partners With Cyprus Institute To Enhance Sustainability And Clean Energy Initiatives

The Municipality and Planning Department - Ajman (MPDA) has formalised a partnership with The Cyprus Institute through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This agreement aims to strengthen collaboration in sustainability and clean energy. Eng. Khalid Moeen Al Hosani, MPDA’s Executive Director of the Public Health and Environment Sector, and Professor Jean Sciari, the Institute’s Director, signed the MoU with several officials present.

Khalid Moeen emphasised that this MoU aligns with MPDA's strategic vision. Both parties are committed to enhancing cooperation to achieve the goals set by the State and the Emirate of Ajman. Their focus is on scientific studies related to air quality, emissions, clean energy, and carbon neutrality. They believe their joint efforts will contribute significantly to these areas.
