The approved media policy offers a comprehensive framework for coordinating communication among government entities. It aims to enhance official messaging consistency and improve media readiness across various situations. This unified approach seeks to promote a positive image of Ajman both locally and internationally while fostering an environment that supports media creativity.

A presentation by the Ajman Government Media Office detailed the emirate’s evolving media landscape. It showcased initiatives that have bolstered Ajman's local and international presence through a unified narrative expressing its identity as a thriving development hub.

The council approved 13 outcome indicators for Ajman Vision 2030 across four strategic directions: business environment and economic growth, national human capital development, quality of life and urban attractiveness, and culture and arts. These indicators serve as benchmarks for measuring developmental impact on economy, society, and quality of life.

H.H. Sheikh Ammar noted this approval marks a shift towards data-driven governance. He emphasised focusing on measuring real impacts of policies on people’s lives and service quality. "The next phase will place greater focus on measuring the real impact of policies and initiatives," he added.

Real Estate Sector Regulation

The council also endorsed Law No. (1) of 2025 regulating real estate contributions in Ajman. This law aims to enhance market transparency, protect investors’ rights, and support sustainable investment growth in real estate—a vital sector of the local economy.

This initiative aligns with Ajman Vision 2030's objectives for balanced urban development that improves quality of life while creating an attractive business environment. A joint committee will draft regulatory specifications for implementing a pilot system in selected urban areas.

Tourism, Culture, and Media Legislation

The council approved legislation for the Department of Tourism, Culture, and Media to establish an integrated ecosystem enhancing Ajman's status as an influential destination locally and globally. This legislation empowers regulatory roles while supporting cultural activities and creative industries.

The council also reviewed final accounts for 2024, praising financial discipline among government entities. Emphasis was placed on continuing efforts to enhance spending efficiency in line with principles of transparency and sound management.

Higher Education Collaboration

An agreement was discussed regarding licensing higher education institutions in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education. This aims to regulate the sector ensuring academic outcomes align with national policies.

The meeting concluded with emphasis on implementing resolutions to strengthen government integration towards achieving Ajman Vision 2030 targets.
