Ajman's Department Of Tourism Development Announces Inaugural E-Games Championship For November 2024
Ajman's Department of Tourism Development is gearing up to host its inaugural e-Games Championship from 21st to 24th November 2024. This event will take place at the Ajman Police Sports and Shooting Club. The initiative aims to embrace technological progress and engage younger generations, a crucial demographic in the community.
The championship will gather professional gamers and enthusiasts aged eight and above for three days of gaming competitions, networking, and knowledge-sharing activities. This event highlights Ajman's emergence as a hub for e-sports and digital innovation. It underscores the department's commitment to fostering youth participation across various age groups through innovative initiatives.

Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director General of Ajman's Department of Tourism Development, stated, "At ATDD, we are delighted to organise the debutant e-Games Championship in Ajman. The championship will feature competitions suitable for all ages, including FIFA25, Tekken, Street Fighter, Assetto Corsa, and Super Smash. These contests are designed to create excitement among participants while allowing them to showcase their gaming prowess. Top players from each game will advance to the final rounds.
Participants will have the chance to interact with leading gamers during networking sessions. The event will also include exhibitions, games, and challenges such as magic performances and clown acts. This provides an engaging environment for attendees.
Recognising Talent with Prizes
Winners in various categories will be awarded cash prizes up to AED 60,000 in recognition of their exceptional e-gaming skills. The competitions aim to foster a positive spirit among contestants while offering an active platform for excelling in the global e-gaming industry.
