Ajman Department Of Tourism Development Showcases Innovative Digital Projects At GITEX Global 2025

The Ajman Department of Tourism Development (ADTD) showcased a range of digital initiatives at GITEX Global 2025, hosted at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Under the Ajman Government pavilion, ADTD emphasised its dedication to advancing smart transformation and bolstering the emirate’s tourism sector through cutting-edge technologies like artificial intelligence.

Among the key announcements was Ajman’s new tourism website, an AI-driven platform. It includes a smart tourism assistant, landmark recognition service, trip planning tools, and analytics dashboards for event design. Additionally, it offers an inclusive-tourism feature for People of Determination, providing accessible information on hotels, restaurants, transportation, and events through interactive maps.

The Department introduced interactive tools for creating images, videos, and 3D models. It also unveiled systems for evaluating ideas and maintaining a comprehensive digital registry to track future initiatives. These efforts aim to enhance visitor experiences and operational efficiency in line with Ajman Vision 2030.

A secure digital platform for the Tourism Innovator Award was launched by ADTD. This platform allows the public to submit ideas that encourage creativity and innovation in tourism. Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director-General of ADTD, stated that the Department is committed to developing advanced digital services powered by AI and machine learning.

The "Tourism Visions of the Future by AI" platform was another highlight. It engages the public in shaping Ajman’s tourism future using AI-driven image, video, and 3D modelling tools. All submitted ideas will be archived digitally for analysis and integration into the emirate’s tourism strategy.

Through these innovations, ADTD reaffirmed its commitment to building a smart, inclusive, and sustainable tourism sector. These efforts aim to enhance visitor experience while supporting Ajman’s position as an emerging global destination.
