Ajman Department Of Tourism Development Launches New Roadshow In India To Promote Attractions

The Ajman Department of Tourism Development (ADTD) is set to embark on a promotional roadshow in India, led by Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, the Director General. Starting tomorrow and concluding on 19 September 2025, this initiative will visit major Indian cities. The roadshow aims to explore new markets for collaboration and strengthen tourism partnerships with global operators.

Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi stated: "Through this promotional roadshow, we seek to reaffirm our commitment to opening new opportunities for regional and international cooperation, while strengthening Ajman’s position as a leading tourist destination. This initiative aligns with Ajman’s continuous development in the tourism and leisure sectors, led by a comprehensive strategic vision to advance every aspect of the tourism industry, in line with the Government of Ajman’s goals and future plans."

Ajman Launches Roadshow in India

The roadshow will make stops in New Delhi, Pune, and Kolkata on 15, 17, and 19 September respectively. Each city visit will feature official meetings and events aimed at showcasing Ajman's tourism offerings. These engagements are designed to share best practices and explore potential collaborations.

During the roadshow, ADTD plans to spotlight Ajman's latest tourism projects and attractions. This effort aims to reinforce its status as an appealing global destination. By introducing the Indian market to its major attractions, ADTD hopes to raise international awareness of Ajman as a unique tourist spot.

Alhashmi also mentioned: "In addition, we look forward to forging robust strategic ties with our key partners in the Indian tourism sector, further boosting opportunities for knowledge and expertise exchange, and unlocking new avenues for sustainable tourism and economic development in the emirate. These efforts will contribute to our mission to promote Ajman by highlighting its diverse landmarks, projects and cultural and tourist attractions that offer visitors unique and memorable experiences."

Economic Growth Objectives

The roadshow seeks several strategic objectives including driving tourism growth by increasing visitor numbers and revenues. It also aims to boost local economy through hotel income growth and job creation while attracting investments into the tourism sector.

This initiative reflects ADTD's dedication to establishing agreements that encourage mutual understanding within the tourism sector. By doing so, they aim to foster joint initiatives that benefit both parties involved.
