Ajman Department Of Tourism Development Establishes European Representative Office To Boost Tourism

The Ajman Department of Tourism Development (ADTD) recently wrapped up its involvement in ITB Berlin 2025, held from March 4 to 6. The event attracted a large number of industry leaders, tour operators, and travel enthusiasts globally. ADTD used this platform to present Ajman's tourism, culture, and hospitality offerings through various engaging activities.

ADTD's participation aimed to advance Ajman's strategy for sustainable development and position the emirate as a prime destination for international tourism businesses exploring new markets. This aligns with their vision to elevate local tourism by showcasing Ajman's attractions and investment opportunities.

Ajman Launches European Tourism Office

A significant highlight was ADTD's partnership agreement with Pure Touristik. This collaboration will establish a representative office in Europe, covering Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The goal is to boost Ajman's tourism sector by attracting more European visitors and fostering connections with tourism companies and investors.

Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director General of ADTD, expressed satisfaction with the event's turnout: "The significant turnout at our pavilion during ITB Berlin 2025 reflects our ambitious vision to elevate local tourism by showcasing Ajman’s top attractions and positioning the emirate as a world-class travel destination." His statement underscores the commitment to expanding strategic partnerships aligned with leadership's vision for economic growth.

Ajman's tourism sector has seen notable growth, marked by an 8% increase in international visitors compared to 2023. The rise in tourism revenues further highlights the sector's expansion. ITB Berlin 2025 served as a crucial platform for attracting investments and forming global partnerships that strengthen Ajman's vibrant tourism industry.

Leading travel agencies and hospitality establishments from Ajman also participated in the exhibition. Their involvement was crucial in promoting the emirate's hospitality sector and enhancing its appeal as a tourist destination.
