Ajman Chamber Enhances Global Ties With Construction And Real Estate Opportunities In Sarajevo
The Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) recently took part in the International Construction and Real Estate Investment Exhibition, known as "Real Expo Sarajevo 2024," held in Bosnia and Herzegovina from 6th to 8th August. The event aimed to boost international communication, cooperation, and investment opportunities in construction and real estate sectors.
Abdullah Saeed Al Nuaimi, a board member of ACCI who led the delegation, highlighted the exhibition's significance. He noted that it serves as a global platform uniting major construction and real estate companies from Bosnia and Herzegovina and other countries. The focus areas included real estate development, building materials, sustainability technology, smart buildings, renewable energy, furniture, and decoration.

During the exhibition, Al Nuaimi engaged in numerous bilateral meetings with international companies. These discussions aimed to explore cooperation opportunities and promote Ajman's investment potential. He emphasized the continuous growth in Ajman's construction and real estate sectors. In 2023, memberships for construction activities reached 5,779, while real estate activities saw 680 memberships—a growth rate exceeding 11 percent.
Al Nuaimi also met with officials from the Investment Attraction Authority of the Sarajevo Government. They discussed joint cooperation methods and future bilateral forums involving business owners and government agencies from both regions. He provided an extensive overview of Ajman's unique investment opportunities during these meetings.
Al Nuaimi praised the rapid advancements and achievements in Ajman's construction and real estate sectors. He attributed this growth to directives from H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, and H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council. These efforts have significantly boosted the construction sector's contribution to Ajman's GDP by 18.8 percent, amounting to AED 6.3 billion in 2022. Real estate activities contributed by 12 percent with a value exceeding AED 4 billion.
Future Plans
The Ajman Chamber aims to expand its external participation agenda aligned with Ajman Vision 2030. This strategy focuses on promoting investment opportunities across various sectors and enhancing foreign trade prospects to support local products while discovering new markets abroad.
Al Nuaimi stressed that participating in international events like Real Expo Sarajevo is crucial for fostering global economic relations. Such platforms enable sharing knowledge about sustainable technologies, smart mobility solutions, green buildings, renewable energy innovations among others.
The ACCI's active involvement at Real Expo Sarajevo underscores its commitment to strengthening international ties while showcasing Ajman's growing economic landscape through strategic collaborations globally.
