Ajman Chamber Hosts International Ramadan Majlis To Enhance Global Economic Relations
The Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) recently hosted an influential gathering at the Fairmont Ajman Hotel, marking a significant stride in bolstering economic relationships on a global scale. The International Ramadan Majlis, as the event is known, served as a pivotal platform for promoting Ajman as a prime destination for investment and business. This assembly saw the participation of an array of distinguished guests including ambassadors, consuls, and other foreign dignitaries, alongside prominent local government officials and businessmen from Ajman.
Representing ACCI at this prestigious event were notable figures such as Maher Tarish Al Alili, a Board Member; Mohamed Ali Al Janahi, the Acting Director General; and Ali Rashid Al Kaitoob, the Executive Director of the Studies and Investment Development Sector. Al Kaitoob emphasized the Chamber's dedication to organizing the International Ramadan Majlis with the aim of fostering sustainable partnerships worldwide. The initiative also focuses on showcasing investment opportunities within the emirate, attracting foreign investments, and exploring avenues to diversify foreign markets for Ajman’s products. This is in addition to increasing intra-trade volumes and enhancing the qualitative aspects of Ajman's offerings.
Al Kaitoob further highlighted the Majlis's crucial role in promoting investment opportunities in Ajman and shedding light on the significant and continuous developments across various sectors under the leadership of H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, and H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Ajman Executive Council.
Fatima Yaqoob Al Awadhi, Acting Head of the Investment Attraction Section at Ajman Chamber, pointed out that the International Ramadan Majlis offers a unique opportunity to explore prominent international economic exhibitions and events. This facilitates discussions among attendees on participation strategies to be incorporated into the plans of the Promotion Section.
The attendees unanimously acknowledged the significance of organizing such meetings on various occasions. They lauded the Majlis for providing an essential platform for strengthening relations, building partnerships, and supporting international cooperation between all involved parties. Moreover, they commended the diversity of investment opportunities in Ajman and its impressive economic growth, which further amplifies partnership and cooperation prospects.
