Ajman Chamber Conducts Fourth Board Meeting Of 2024 To Strategise On Future Investments And Projects

Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Muwaiji, Chairman of Ajman Chamber, led the fourth Board of Directors meeting in 2024. The agenda included Ajman Chamber's work plan, projects for 2025, and strategies to attract investments and enhance exports. Performance indicators for the current year were also reviewed. The meeting took place at the Thara Centre for Entrepreneurship with key figures like Sheikh Sultan bin Saqr Al Nuaimi and Salem Al Suwaidi present.

Al Muwaiji began by welcoming attendees and commending the UAE's achievements since its Union formation. He highlighted the nation's progress in various sectors, attributing it to the founding fathers' vision continued by current leaders. This progress has strengthened the UAE's global standing among developed nations.

Ajman Chamber's Fourth Meeting Focuses on Investments

The meeting explored a report on Ajman Chamber's financial status, Human and Financial Resources Committee outcomes, and the proposed 2025 budget. It also examined projects aligned with Ajman Vision 2030 aimed at supporting private sector growth and attracting direct investments. Enhancing Ajman's role as a commercial hub was a key focus.

Ajman Chamber's Board stressed increasing foreign participation in exhibitions to boost trade globally. This strategy aims to showcase local products internationally and strengthen Ajman's investment appeal. Engaging business owners in these events is seen as crucial for exploring international cooperation opportunities.

The attendees received updates on Ajman Chamber's participation in GITEX Global 2024, highlighting initiatives using artificial intelligence technologies for innovative services. Preparations for hosting AETEX 2025 were discussed, focusing on attracting global universities and promoting educational investment opportunities in Ajman.

The meeting also reviewed procedures at the Ajman Arbitration Center. Discussions included establishing sustainable business centers offering integrated administrative infrastructure for startups and SMEs. These centers aim to provide flexible solutions to meet entrepreneurs' needs effectively.

Commitment to Vision Alignment

The Chairman and Board members emphasised regularly updating Ajman Chamber's projects to align with its vision under Ajman Vision 2030. Expanding partnerships with federal, local entities, and the private sector was deemed essential for reinforcing Ajman's position as an economic hub attracting investments.

Al Muwaiji congratulated H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi on receiving the Mohammed bin Rashid Government Excellence Award 2024, recognising his leadership in fostering government integration and partnerships with federal entities.

The meeting concluded with a commitment to continuously monitor initiatives ensuring they meet objectives while enhancing collaboration across sectors to maintain Ajman's economic prominence regionally.
