AJ Barakah Achieves Top Score At Abu Dhabi International Arabian Horse Championship
The Abu Dhabi International Arabian Horse Championship continued on Saturday at the Etihad Arena, Yas Island. The event featured intense competitions among horses from various studs. AJ Barakah, a mare, captured attention by achieving the highest score of 92.21 points during the day's events.
Among the attendees were Dr. Ali bin Tamim, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre, and Dr. Mohamed Hamad Al Kuwaiti, Chairman of the UAE Government’s Cyber Security Council. Rashid Mubarak bin Markhan Al Ketbi and Mohamed Ahmed Al Harbi also attended alongside several horse stud owners and managers globally.

The championship hosted 338 horses from both local and international origins. Organised by the Emirates Arabian Horse Society (EAHS), it followed the European Conference of Arab Horse Organisations (ECAHO) rules. The total prize pool for this prestigious event was €4 million.
In Section C of the Mares 4+ years old category, AJ Barakah led with a score of 92.21 points for Ajman Stud. Meanwhile, AJ Alula excelled in Section B with a score of 92.07 points, also representing Ajman Stud.
Fam Vortex emerged as a leader in Section A of the Yearling Colts category with 91.14 points for owner Federico Jordan. In Section B, Shamel Al Zobair topped with 89.93 points under Sheikh Fahad bin Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Thani's ownership.
Mishref Al Shaqab achieved a score of 91.36 in Section A of the Colts 2 Years Old category for Al Shaqab Stud. AJ Rabdan brought success back to Ajman Stud in Section B with a score of 91.00 points.
Colts 3 Years Old Category
E.S. Teber scored 90.57 points for Sheikh Abdullah bin Majid Al Qassimi in Section A of the Colts 3 Years Old category. In Section B, AJ Sayer secured a leading position with a score of 91.71 points for Ajman Stud.
The championship showcased remarkable performances from various studs and highlighted the competitive spirit among participants, making it an exciting event for horse enthusiasts and professionals alike.
