AI technology is transforming airport security by introducing proactive and intelligent solutions. These AI-driven systems monitor real-time video feeds, analyse data, and reduce false alarms, ensuring rapid responses to potential threats. Smart security systems use computer vision algorithms to detect motion and behavioural analytics to flag suspicious activities.

Colonel Engineer Expert Marwan Mohammad Singel from Dubai Police emphasised the importance of technology in ensuring airport security and seamless travel experiences. "Technology has become a supreme factor for airports to ensure security and safety of facilities, ease of travel and seamless journeys," he stated.

The Airport Show will feature over 120 exhibitors from more than 20 countries, including Germany and Italy pavilions. Over 150 buyers from over 30 countries are expected to attend. The Middle East and Africa have a project pipeline worth US$75.5 billion, while South Asia's stands at US$34 billion.

Kamil Al Awadi from IATA noted that passenger traffic is projected to grow at an average annual rate of 3.9% until 2043. This growth necessitates continuous adaptation and innovation in airport security systems to meet evolving challenges.

May Ismail from RX highlighted the significance of the Airport Show in showcasing modern security products, many debuting in the Middle East. "As airport security systems have to adapt and improvise continuously to meet new challenges," she said.

The conference offers valuable networking opportunities for industry players across the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia regions. By deploying advanced products, airports can stay ahead in providing secure and efficient services.
