Airport Excellence Awards 2024 Celebrate Partners Driving Dubai International's Global Success

Dubai Airports celebrated its airline and commercial partners at the Airport Excellence Awards 2024, recognising achievements that maintain Dubai International (DXB) as a leader in global air travel. This event marked the return of these awards after four years, highlighting the dedication and innovation that make DXB the busiest international airport worldwide.

The awards ceremony took place at Park Hyatt and featured over 15 categories. It honoured partners excelling in customer service, operational excellence, sustainability, and visual impact. These awards celebrated contributions that enhance the oneDXB community, making DXB a preferred destination for millions annually.

Celebrating Partners at Airport Excellence Awards 2024

Airline winners included Lufthansa Group for Customer Service Excellence and Air India for Operational Excellence. IndiGo was recognised for Sustainability Initiatives, while Saudia received the Above & Beyond Excellence Award. Flydubai was honoured for Community Development Dedication, and Emirates won the Inclusive Travel Award.

Paul Griffiths, CEO of Dubai Airports, acknowledged DXB's achievements over the past year. He expressed gratitude for the collective efforts driving its success. "The Airport Excellence Awards are our way of recognising the phenomenal commitment and vision our partners bring to DXB every day," he stated.

In commercial categories, JCDecaux was awarded Partnership Excellence, McDonald's received recognition for Sustainability Practices, and Uber excelled in Guest Experience and Hospitality. Five Guys was acknowledged for Marketing Campaign Development, while Emirates Leisure Retail took home the Above & Beyond Excellence Award.

The evening's winners highlighted resilience and innovation within DXB’s partner community as they resumed after a pandemic pause. Their efforts continue to position Dubai as a global aviation leader.

A Night of Celebration

The event featured lively entertainment with music from DJ Ruben and a performance by NotSoHuman. Hosted by popular radio personality Kris Fade, who kept energy levels high throughout the evening's recognitions.

With over 93 million guests expected this year at DXB, each milestone achieved is a testament to everyone's extraordinary dedication behind these accomplishments.
