AIM Congress Renews Partnership With UAE International Investors Council For Economic Growth

The Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) Congress and the UAE International Investors Council (UAEIIC) have recently fortified their collaboration by signing a new memorandum of understanding (MoU). This agreement is a testament to the successful partnership that has significantly contributed to reinforcing the UAE's stature as a leading global investment hub and a preferred destination for foreign investments. The MoU was inked by Jamal Saif Al Jarwan, Secretary-General of the UAEIIC, and Dawood Al Shezawi, President of the AIM Congress, amidst representatives from both entities at the AIM Global Foundation headquarters in Dubai.

This strategic alliance aims to bolster joint efforts in enhancing the global investment landscape and supporting worldwide economic prosperity. The AIM Congress serves as a pivotal platform, uniting investors, policymakers, startups, and innovators from across the globe. It facilitates the exchange of insights and ideas, fostering global economic expansion by presenting prime investment opportunities to the international business community.

Under this renewed partnership, both parties have committed to developing a comprehensive cooperation plan. This plan encompasses a series of activities and events designed to gather and share information on national investments abroad and assess the impact of economic policies implemented by host countries. Such initiatives are crucial for creating a database of foreign investment opportunities and analyzing various international markets' investment climates.

Jamal Saif Al Jarwan expressed his enthusiasm about this collaboration, highlighting its significance in exploring diverse investment sectors and building new partnerships that strengthen economic and investment ties globally. Dawood Al Shezawi echoed these sentiments, emphasizing the partnership's role in promoting dialogue and cooperation among investors worldwide. The 13th session of the AIM Congress is scheduled from 7th-9th May 2024 at ADNEC in Abu Dhabi. Themed "Adapting to the Shifting Investment Landscape: Harnessing New Potentials for Global Economic Development," the event will feature an array of activities including exhibitions, conferences, forums, dialogue sessions, workshops, and startup competitions. These will cover various tracks such as investment, innovation and technology, startups and unicorns, SMEs, future finance forum, regional focus forum, discussing sectors like agriculture, energy, technology, industry, tourism, hospitality, transportation and shipping, financial services, health education, and foreign direct investment. The AIM Congress will collaborate with several international organizations including the World Health Organisation (WHO), the World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO), the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO), and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), among others.

This partnership between the AIM Congress and the UAE International Investors Council underscores their shared vision of enhancing global investment opportunities. It reflects their commitment to driving economic growth and development not only within the UAE but also on an international scale.
