AI-Powered Leadership Forum In Dubai Highlights Strategic Use Of AI In The UAE Public Sector
The Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government organised the "AI-Powered Leadership Forum: Strategies for the Future" at the Etihad Museum in Dubai, combining a leadership forum with a graduation ceremony for an Executive Diploma cohort and placing artificial intelligence at the centre of future government leadership discussions.
The event attracted government leaders, digital transformation officials, data specialists and governance professionals. Participants discussed how AI and advanced data tools can support better public policy and decision-making, aligned with the UAE’s goal for a proactive, knowledge-based and innovation-led government system.

Forum sessions examined how government leadership is evolving in the digital age and how AI can shift from a supportive technology to a strategic lever. Speakers highlighted organisational models that integrate data-driven systems into policy design, service delivery and institutional development across public entities.
Debates also addressed the practical use of AI in everyday government operations. Experts outlined methods to apply advanced analytics, promote responsible data use, and embed AI tools in planning processes, emphasising governance frameworks that align technology deployment with national priorities in the UAE.
The ceremony honoured graduates of MBRSG’s Executive Diploma Programme, titled "AI-Driven Leadership: Strategic Approaches for the Future". The programme aims to build leadership capabilities, enable decision-makers to keep pace with rapid advances in AI and digital transformation, and strengthen readiness to address emerging public-sector challenges.
Abdulla Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, Chairman of MBRSG's Board of Trustees and Director-General of the Dubai Government Human Resources Department, said, "Today's ceremony celebrating the graduates from the AI-Driven Leadership Executive Diploma programme reflects our commitment at the Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government to supplying the government with qualified national talent capable of leading comprehensive digital transformation."
Dr. Ali bin Sebaa Al Marri, Executive President of MBRSG, congratulated the graduates and noted that both the forum and diploma programme answer new demands in government work, where artificial intelligence and data now play central roles in planning, implementation and evaluation of public initiatives.
AI-Driven Leadership Projects and Smart Agents
The Executive Diploma concluded with applied final projects. Each participant developed a "smart agent" designed to support daily responsibilities within a government work environment, forming part of an advanced and interactive learning model that aligns with global best practices in public-sector training and leadership development.
