AI Office Launches Teachers Track To Enhance Educators' Skills In Artificial Intelligence

The Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications Office has partnered with Microsoft to introduce the "Teachers Track" under the "One Million AI Talents" initiative. This programme, announced by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, aims to train a million people in AI skills across the UAE by 2027.

The Teachers Track was launched on UAE Codes Day 2025. It focuses on empowering educators with AI knowledge and tools. This initiative supports the education sector's goal of improving learning outcomes in line with the UAE’s vision of fostering a generation of teachers who can lead digital transformation in education.

Teachers Track Empowers Educators with AI Skills

Saqr Binghalib, Executive Director of the Office of Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, stated that this initiative aligns with the UAE’s vision to empower educators. The aim is to help them adapt to technological changes, enhance their skills, and equip them with future-ready tools. He stressed that using AI in education aids in achieving national digital transformation goals.

Binghalib also pointed out that teachers are essential in shaping future generations. By providing them with modern technologies and knowledge, they can inspire students towards innovation. Integrating AI into education can transform teaching methods and strengthen the UAE’s position as a global hub for innovation and knowledge.

The Teachers Track is tailored to meet educators' professional needs within school environments. It aims to improve efficiency and foster innovation in teaching methods. The programme includes successful models of AI use in education and practical strategies for incorporating AI into lesson planning, assessment, and student engagement.
