SDAIA Official Highlights AI As A Catalyst For Job Enhancement And Service To Humanity
The National Center for Artificial Intelligence at the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) CEO Dr. Yaser bin Mohammed Alonaizan emphasised that AI is a tool meant to benefit humanity. Speaking on the second day of the Global AI Summit, he assured that AI will not replace jobs but rather enhance them.
Dr. Alonaizan highlighted that AI should be used responsibly, considering potential risks. He clarified that business intelligence focuses on data collection and analysis for human decision-making, whereas AI is involved in every step from data creation to final judgment.

He stressed the importance of integrating ethics into AI design. According to him, the relationship between AI and humans is complementary, with AI making jobs more accessible and efficient without replacing them.
Addressing the crucial role of data, Dr. Alonaizan noted that effective data management is essential for optimal AI function. He mentioned that without robust data, AI systems cannot perform effectively.
He cited successful projects like SDAIA’s ALLaM model, which "promises further development and impressive results." This model exemplifies how advanced AI systems can enhance communication with machines and improve user experience.
