AI Academy Introduces Groundbreaking Executive Programme For Chief AI Officer In MENA Region
The AI Academy, a key centre for executive education in artificial intelligence, has started accepting early applications for its Executive Programme for Chief AI Officer (CAIO). This initiative was first introduced at the Machines Can See 2025 summit, attended by Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence. The programme aims to equip senior executives with the skills needed to lead the next phase of AI transformation.
The programme is a result of collaboration between the Abu Dhabi School of Management (ADSM) and Polynome Group. It underscores the UAE's dedication to fostering leadership that is prepared for future challenges, positioning itself as a global leader in AI adoption and regulation. The intensive two-week course will commence on 16th November 2025, featuring ten advanced modules.

Participants will delve into topics such as AI systems architecture, enterprise deployment, governance frameworks, ethics, and public policy. The curriculum focuses on real-world applications, preparing executives to spearhead cross-functional AI strategies and drive innovation across the MENA region. This approach ensures leaders are well-equipped to handle complex AI-related challenges.
An optional five-day international module is available in Europe or the United States. This extension offers participants exposure to leading global innovation ecosystems. Such opportunities broaden their understanding and provide insights into international best practices in AI implementation.
Dr. Tayeb Kamali, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at ADSM, emphasised the importance of strategic leadership in today's rapidly evolving environment. "In today’s fast-changing landscape, visionary and strategic leadership is critical to unlocking the full potential of AI in a responsible way that meets the needs of businesses and society alike," he stated.
The programme equips leaders with essential skills such as strategic foresight and ethical foundations. These skills are crucial for leveraging AI opportunities while enhancing the UAE's status as a hub for technological excellence. Participants gain practical knowledge necessary for effective decision-making in AI-driven environments.
Unique Programme Design
Alexander Khanin, Founder of Polynome Group, highlighted what sets this programme apart: "What makes this programme unique is that it was designed by leaders who have implemented AI at scale." Participants benefit from execution-ready strategies and direct access to enterprise tools.
The programme also offers membership in a powerful peer network of global AI leaders. This network facilitates knowledge sharing and collaboration among participants, enhancing their ability to implement successful AI strategies within their organisations.
This initiative represents a significant step towards advancing AI leadership capabilities in the region. By providing comprehensive training and international exposure, it prepares executives to navigate the complexities of AI integration effectively.
