H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum inaugurated GITEX GLOBAL 2024 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. This event, running from 14-18 October, is the largest tech and startup gathering globally. The 44th edition features over 6,500 exhibitors, 1,800 startups, and 1,200 investors from more than 180 countries. It highlights international collaboration as a key driver for technological growth.

H.H. The theme 'Global Collaboration to Forge a Future AI Economy' underscores this year's GITEX GLOBAL. It serves as a platform for building connections and launching solutions that drive AI-driven socio-economic change worldwide. The event aims to accelerate partnerships and strategic investments in AI technologies.

The Tech Investment Day kicks off with sessions on investment trends shaping global wealth. The World Future Economy Digital Leaders Summit will focus on AI's potential to add $13 trillion to the global economy by 2030. Discussions will address challenges and opportunities in AI-driven economic transformation.

AI Everything hosts discussions on AI's future in society and industry. Global AI leaders will present transformative case studies across government, enterprise, and startups. They will explore how quickly proofs-of-concept can be transformed while balancing AI's potential with human creativity.

Spanning over ten halls, AI Everything features breakthrough technologies from 3,500 enterprises. Participants include renowned tech companies like Adobe, Alibaba Cloud, AWS, Dell, Google, Huawei, IBM, Microsoft, Nvidia, Oracle, Salesforce, SAS among others.

GITEX Editions Debut

GITEX Editions makes its debut as a platform for advancing late-stage tech companies globally. It connects 59 top unicorns valued at $400 billion collectively. Companies like Axelera and DeepL are part of this initiative aimed at fast-tracking growth in advanced tech sectors.

The event sees participation from over 180 countries with international involvement increasing by nearly 40%. GITEX GLOBAL fosters collaboration among governments, enterprises, investors, startups, academia and researchers worldwide.

Expand North Star and Data Centre Symposium

The Expand North Star show is integrated into GITEX GLOBAL as the largest startup and investment exhibition running until 16 October at Dubai Harbour. This initiative aims to redefine the digital economy and AI ecosystem globally.

The Data Centre Symposium debuts on Thursday (17 October) as the region's biggest data centre gathering. Visitors will explore future trends in data centres focusing on AI-driven automation and cybersecurity innovations shaping tomorrow's digital landscape.

H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed also remarked: "With each groundbreaking solution presented or every aspirational idea shared, we move closer to a world where technology empowers progress...
