Businessman Ahmed Ali Riaz Malik Supports Education With AED 1 Million Donation

Pakistani businessman Ahmed Ali Riaz Malik has generously contributed AED 1 million to the Mothers’ Endowment campaign, an initiative spearheaded by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. This campaign aims to establish a AED 1 billion endowment fund dedicated to supporting educational initiatives for millions globally. Launched under the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI) during the holy month of Ramadan, this initiative underscores the UAE's commitment to humanitarian efforts worldwide.

Expressing his pride in participating in this noble cause, Ahmed Ali Riaz Malik remarked, "I am proud to be part of the Mothers’ Endowment campaign, which sends a message of love and solidarity from the UAE to the world. We pray that this donation would contribute to realising the ambitious goals of the campaign, which aims to empower underprivileged individuals through education and skill building." He also extended his gratitude towards MBRGI for the opportunity to honour mothers and contribute towards securing a brighter future for coming generations.

The Mothers’ Endowment campaign is an extension of the UAE's tradition of launching charitable and humanitarian initiatives during Ramadan. It focuses on addressing critical needs and priorities of communities worldwide while promoting values such as respect for parents, kindness, compassion, and solidarity. Furthermore, it reinforces the UAE's position as a leader in global humanitarian efforts by creating a sustainable endowment for education and empowerment.

In collaboration with various humanitarian organizations, the funds raised through this endowment will be utilized to support educational and training programs for millions globally. These initiatives aim to provide individuals with the necessary tools and skills for leading independent and stable lives.

The campaign continues to accept donations from both institutions and individuals through multiple channels. Contributions can be made through the campaign’s website (Mothersfund.ae), a dedicated call centre via toll-free number (800 9999), bank transfers in UAE dirham to Emirates Islamic Bank (AE790340003708472909201), and SMS donations by sending "Mother" to numbers (1034, 1035, 1036, 1038) for Etisalat by e& users. Additionally, donations can be made via the DubaiNow app under the "Donations" tab and through Dubai’s community contributions platform Jood (Jood.ae).
