AGDA Signs Partnership With ADMAF To Strengthen UAE’s Global Cultural Influence

The Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy (AGDA) and the Abu Dhabi Music and Arts Foundation (ADMAF) have embarked on a strategic partnership, solidifying their commitment to enhancing the United Arab Emirates' (UAE) influence in the global cultural and creative sectors. This collaboration was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by Nickolay Mladenov, Director General of AGDA, and Huda Alkhamis Kanoo, Founder of ADMAF and Artistic Director of the Abu Dhabi Festival. The signing ceremony was attended by senior officials from both organizations.

This agreement sets the stage for a series of cooperative efforts, including the exchange of knowledge and expertise, joint cultural events, and special projects aimed at developing highly skilled Emirati leaders capable of representing the UAE in international cultural forums. Mladenov highlighted the MoU's role in leveraging the UAE's cultural sector to nurture Emirati talent, thereby contributing to the nation's knowledge-based economy. He emphasized strategic initiatives designed to celebrate the UAE's unique cultural identity while raising awareness of cultural diplomacy's vital role.

AGDA-ADMAF Boost UAE Culture

Kanoo expressed enthusiasm for the partnership with AGDA, noting its significance in promoting cultural diplomacy and enhancing the UAE's global stature in culture and arts. She underscored the importance of intercultural dialogue and leveraging soft power to promote values of coexistence, peace, and human connectivity. The collaboration includes organizing annual cultural events, developing cultural awareness programs for AGDA students, and engaging them in local and global cultural diplomacy initiatives.

AGDA is renowned as a leading institution for diplomatic education in the region, offering comprehensive training programs across various industries, including culture and arts. This partnership aligns with AGDA's mission to cultivate Emirati leaders in the cultural sector. Following the MoU signing, AGDA hosted an interactive session with Alkhamis as part of its Diplomatic Majlis initiative. During this session, Alkhamis shared her insights on fostering creativity, culture, and multi-disciplinary arts, highlighting their significance in providing unique opportunities for aspiring diplomats to impact the UAE's cultural landscape and beyond.

This collaboration between AGDA and ADMAF represents a significant step towards positioning the UAE as a hub of creativity and a global nexus for culture and arts. Through their joint efforts, both organizations aim to invigorate cultural diplomacy and strengthen the UAE's presence on the international stage.
