The tour spanned NEOM's 26,500-square-kilometer area, highlighting key locations like Trojena's snow-capped slopes and the Adventure Sports Hub's shores. This journey through the NEOM Nature Region underscored NEOM's growing influence in uniting communities and shaping lifestyles.

NEOM Sports Club ambassador Mohammed Al Burayk joined the tour, which highlighted diverse sports shaping NEOM’s future. From football to skiing and kitesurfing, these activities are integral to NEOM's dynamic economy. The tour emphasized NEOM’s commitment to fostering a thriving sports culture.
Jan Paterson, Managing Director of NEOM Sport, remarked: "Hosting the AFC Champions League Elite trophy at NEOM is about much more than the game. It’s a moment that connects our people and our regions to one of Asia’s top sporting stages, reflecting how sport is an integral part of the fabric of NEOM."
The partnership with AFC has bolstered initiatives like the Shuhub Community Youth Football Program. This program engaged 10,000 young people across Saudi Arabia, offering them unique opportunities in football. Through this collaboration, local boys and girls participated as player mascots and center circle children during AFC matches.
Additionally, for the first time ever, children were involved in handing over the trophy at the AFC Champions League 23/24 Final. This initiative provided memorable experiences for young participants from various football community groups.
The press release highlighted each stop on the trophy's journey as a testament to NEOM's role in driving a vibrant economy. By showcasing its diverse sports offerings, NEOM aims to inspire future generations while strengthening community ties through sport.
