AEEDC Dubai 2026 Names Egypt As Guest Of Honour, Celebrating Regional Healthcare Leadership
The UAE International Dental Conference and Arab Dental Exhibition (AEEDC Dubai) has chosen Egypt as the Guest of Honour for its 30th edition. This event will occur from 19th to 21st January 2026 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. AEEDC Dubai is renowned as the largest global scientific dental conference and exhibition, fostering international collaboration and professional growth in the dental field.
Last year, AEEDC Dubai attracted over 85,000 participants from 177 countries, with business deals surpassing AED20 billion. These impressive figures set a high standard for the upcoming edition. The event's scientific programme will include more than 200 sessions, over 30 workshops, and contributions from over 160 international speakers covering diverse topics like aesthetics, AI in dentistry, and digital dentistry.

Egypt's selection as Guest of Honour highlights its leadership in regional healthcare and its active involvement with AEEDC Dubai. Egyptian universities and medical institutions have consistently contributed to scientific sessions and research activities at the event. This participation underscores Egypt's growing influence in healthcare development across the region.
The collaboration between INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions and the Egyptian Authority for Unified Procurement (UPA) strengthens this relationship. A Memorandum of Understanding signed during Africa Health ExCon 2025 aims to enhance regional development in medical technology and education. Dr. Hisham Sitait, Chairman of UPA, emphasised Egypt's pivotal role in supporting the medical industry through this partnership.
The 2026 edition of AEEDC Dubai will introduce new features to expand its educational impact. These include the AEEDC Plus Education Lounge, AEEDC Career Advancement Forum, MENA Zygoma Implant Summit 2.0, AEEDC Aesthetic Dentistry Forum, and Whole Child, Whole Smile: Trends Shaping Pediatric Dentistry. Initiatives under the Ocean Initiative will address oral disease prevention and detection.
Amb. Dr. Abdulsalam AlMadani expressed pride in welcoming Egypt as Guest of Honour for this milestone edition. He noted that Egypt holds a significant position in regional healthcare and academia. The event celebrates three decades of scientific progress and partnerships that elevate the dental profession globally.
New Initiatives at AEEDC Dubai
In addition to regular conferences like the AEEDC Dubai World Orthodontic Conference, new initiatives aim to broaden AEEDC Dubai’s scope. These include Oral Disease: Prevention and Detection, Pediatric Dentistry: Beyond Conventional, and Dental Hygiene Talks at AEEDC Dubai. Such initiatives reflect ongoing efforts to enhance scientific exchange within the dental community.
Dr. Hisham Sitait highlighted that Egypt’s recognition as Guest of Honour reflects strong ties between Egypt and UAE across various sectors, especially healthcare. He stressed UPA's commitment to maximising this opportunity by showcasing Egypt’s achievements in healthcare development through collaboration with INDEX.
AEEDC Dubai is organised annually by INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions under INDEX Holding's umbrella with official support from the Dubai Health Authority.
