UAE Welcomes Advanced Molecular Diagnostics Lab In Partnership With OncoHelix

Burjeel Holdings has launched a state-of-the-art molecular diagnostics and immune profile testing laboratory in the UAE, in collaboration with Canada-based OncoHelix. This partnership brings to the UAE's healthcare landscape a pioneering facility, OncoHelix-CoLab, situated at Burjeel Medical City (BMC). The inauguration was graced by notable figures including Radha Krishna Panday, Ambassador of Canada to the UAE, John Sunil, CEO of Burjeel Holdings, Dr. Faisal Khan, CEO of OncoHelix, alongside senior officials from Burjeel Holdings.

The introduction of OncoHelix-CoLab signifies a major leap in diagnostic medicine within the region. It offers an array of sophisticated tests that were previously unavailable locally, thus eliminating the need to send samples abroad. This initiative not only streamlines diagnostic processes but also ensures that critical diagnostics remain within the UAE. Utilizing advanced technologies such as Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), Droplet Digital PCR, and Multi-colour Flow cytometry, the lab is set to enhance diagnostic accuracy and speed, contributing to better patient care.

OncoHelix-CoLab stands out for its comprehensive service offering tailored to the healthcare needs of the UAE and MENA region. It specializes in cancer genomic profiling, molecular diagnostics, cellular diagnostics, transplant diagnostics, and specialized immunology tests.
