ADTD Signs Strategic Partnership With Dertour Group To Enhance European Tourism Efforts

The Ajman Department of Tourism Development (ADTD) has partnered with Dertour Group, a prominent German tourism company. This collaboration aims to enhance Ajman's global presence and foster international market connections. The agreement was formalised during a promotional tour in Germany, attended by Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director-General of ADTD.

This partnership is designed to support ADTD's strategic plans to penetrate European markets and attract diverse visitor segments. It involves launching innovative digital campaigns, hosting awareness events, and utilising media platforms in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Additionally, a representative office will be established in Europe to liaise with tourism companies and private sector partners.

ADTD and Dertour Group Join Forces for Tourism

Mahmood Alhashmi highlighted the department's commitment to expanding international cooperation and exploring new tourism investment opportunities. He noted that the European market is a key target for diversifying tourism and increasing visitor numbers to Ajman. "Through this agreement, we seek to build qualitative partnerships with specialised and experienced institutions," he said.

The Dertour Group specialises in promoting tourist destinations across Europe. With its extensive network of partners in the tourism sector, this collaboration offers ADTD greater opportunities to reach a broader audience and implement joint programs with industry leaders. This strategic move aligns with Ajman's goals of enhancing its appeal as a preferred destination for European tourists.

The agreement also aligns with the Ajman Vision 2030 framework, which emphasises innovation and integration in tourism marketing while expanding global partnerships. This approach aims to achieve sustainable growth for the tourism sector and boost its contribution to the local economy.

Alhashmi further stated that the department seeks to facilitate advanced marketing initiatives that showcase Ajman's unique cultural assets. By doing so, they aim to elevate Ajman's status as an attractive destination for European visitors.
