ADQ, IHC, And Modon Establish Gridora To Enhance Infrastructure Development Across UAE
ADQ, IHC, and Modon Holding, based in Abu Dhabi, have collaborated to establish a new infrastructure platform named Gridora. This venture aims to advance infrastructure development through private and public-private partnerships. Gridora will operate under Modon Holding, serving as a strategic hub for collaboration with expert partners and capital providers to deliver large-scale infrastructure projects.
Gridora will focus on two main areas: Infrastructure Projects and Infrastructure Investments. These areas reflect the project origination and asset management skills of its founding partners. The dual-focus model is designed to generate returns while addressing the need for scaling infrastructure implementation at various levels.

By leveraging Modon Holding's expertise in infrastructure and real estate development, Gridora aims to accelerate major projects across the UAE and globally. This initiative will enhance deployment capacity, streamlining procurement and implementation of key contracts. The platform is structured to create value throughout the infrastructure lifecycle, from planning to operations.
Jassem Mohamed Bu Ataba Al Zaabi, Chairman of Modon Holding, stated: "Abu Dhabi’s thriving economy and growing population demand world-class infrastructure. By leveraging the collective expertise and resources of ADQ, IHC and Modon Holding, Gridora will become a local, regional, and international champion for infrastructure development and drive a step change in delivering strategic projects."
The combined strength of ADQ, IHC, and Modon Holding positions Gridora strategically for fostering long-term collaboration between public and private sectors. Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi from ADQ highlighted their commitment to transformative development: "As a long-term investor with deep exposure across infrastructure investments, the establishment of Gridora exemplifies our commitment to design and enable transformative development for projects of strategic importance."
Syed Basar Shueb from IHC added: "Gridora reflects IHC’s continued focus on building future-ready platforms that combine innovation, scale, and strategic collaboration. As a long-term investor, we see strong potential in harnessing infrastructure investments to unlock new economic value."
Empowering Future Growth

He noted that this partnership accelerates critical project delivery while expanding specialist private sector partnerships. "Gridora will harness Modon Holding’s pioneering capabilities to channel expertise and capital into key projects," he said.
The initiative not only expedites state-of-the-art infrastructure delivery but also opens new revenue streams for Modon Holding and its partners. It builds on Abu Dhabi's proven framework for developing transformative infrastructure.
