ADNOC Retains Title As UAE's Most Valuable Brand With $18.9 Billion Value In 2025
ADNOC has been recognised as the UAE's most valuable brand for the seventh year in a row, according to Brand Finance. The brand's value rose by 25% to $18.9 billion in 2025, marking a growth of over 300% since 2017. This achievement places ADNOC as the second most valuable brand in the Middle East and sixth globally among oil and gas brands.
Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and ADNOC Managing Director and Group CEO, stated, "Being recognised as the UAE’s most valuable brand for the seventh consecutive year reflects the vision and guidance of our nation’s wise leadership, who continue to inspire our mission to drive progress and prosperity. This achievement underscores that the true value of our brand lies in the positive impact we create for our community. As ADNOC’s global presence grows, we remain deeply committed to delivering sustainable growth and unlocking opportunities that benefit the UAE and its people for generations to come."

Globally, ADNOC climbed from 128th place in 2024 to 105th among all brands. It also maintained its position as the strongest business-to-consumer (B2C) brand in the UAE based on consumer sentiment. The company’s global brand strength increased to 81.9 points according to Brand Finance’s methodology, keeping its "AAA-" rating for a second consecutive year.
The company's rise in rankings is attributed to its decarbonisation efforts, AI innovations, and international expansion. ADNOC surpassed TotalEnergies and bp in global oil and gas rankings. It retained fifth place among the strongest global oil and gas brands due to these strategic initiatives.
David Haigh, Chairman and CEO of Brand Finance, commented on ADNOC's achievements: "Under Dr. Sultan’s leadership, ADNOC has solidified its status as the UAE’s leading brand while achieving remarkable progress on the global stage. ADNOC’s brand value has surged by 25% to $18.9 billion in 2025, rising from eighth to sixth place in the global oil and gas rankings." This growth has propelled the brand 23 spots to 105th in the Brand Finance Global 500 – its highest-ever global ranking – while their impressive Brand Strength Index (BSI) score of 87.9 out of 100 reaffirms ADNOC as the strongest brand in the UAE.
Dr. Sultan's leadership earned him top recognition among energy CEOs worldwide and seventh overall in Brand Guardianship Index rankings. He is noted as the highest-ranked CEO outside of Europe and North America.
Brand Finance defines brand value as the net economic benefit a brand owner would gain by licensing it on an open market. This valuation considers marketing investments, stakeholder equity, and business performance through a balanced scorecard approach.
This consistent recognition highlights ADNOC's commitment to sustainable growth while enhancing its international presence. The company's strategic focus continues benefiting both local communities and broader markets.
