ADNOC Extends Multi-Year Partnership With Ethara For Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix
ADNOC has renewed its multi-year collaboration with Ethara to sponsor the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. As a founding partner since 2019, ADNOC will launch "The Race Within," a campaign showcasing the UAE's performance spirit and national pride. This initiative underscores the discipline and teamwork shared by ADNOC and Formula 1, reflecting the UAE's progress.
During the race weekend, ADNOC plans to offer unique fan experiences in the main F1 Fan Zone. These activities aim to immerse visitors in the essence of Formula 1. The Pace Lab will challenge fans' speed, agility, and reaction time through various performance-driven tasks. Visitors can engage in activities like reaction light walls and timed sprints to test their skills.

ADNOC's sponsorship also includes community outreach and educational programmes designed to inspire motorsports enthusiasts. This partnership aligns with ADNOC’s commitment to empowering communities, promoting wellbeing, and supporting major sporting events in the UAE. Omar Al Suwaidi from ADNOC expressed excitement about extending this partnership, highlighting its role in uniting people and inspiring future generations.
ADNOC's collaboration with Ethara extends to youth development through the Yas in Schools programme. This initiative involves students in hands-on STEM learning, encouraging them to create F1-inspired racing brands and model cars for national competitions. Since its inception, over 95,000 students from 1,500 schools have participated in this programme.
Gavin Dickinson of Ethara noted that since 2019, ADNOC has not only supported their race but also contributed to shaping future talent by reaching nearly 100,000 UAE students through Yas in Schools. This renewed partnership enhances fan experiences while fostering new generations of UAE talent.
Innovative Experiences for Racegoers
Race attendees will also be introduced to ADNOC's refreshed Oasis convenience brand. Here, fans can enjoy premium offerings from the UAE’s largest locally grown speciality coffee chain under the 'On-the-Gourmet' concept. This initiative aims to enhance visitor experience during the event.
This year saw students across the UAE participate in the Formula Ethara GP Challenge. The winning team earned a chance to attend the race at Yas Marina Circuit with ADNOC. This opportunity allows students to witness firsthand the excitement of a season finale.
Through these efforts, ADNOC continues to play a vital role in promoting sports and education within the UAE while strengthening its presence as a key player in global sporting events.
