ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi Hosts Two Major Manufacturing Events This Week To Advance UAE Sector

The ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, part of the ADNEC Group under Modon Holding, is set to host two significant manufacturing events. The Ajban Defense Industry & Technology Exhibition will occur from 23–24 September, followed by the AM Conclave Middle East from 24–25 September. These gatherings aim to enhance the UAE's manufacturing sector, focusing on additive manufacturing and boosting industrial capabilities.

ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi is becoming a central venue for major manufacturing events. This follows the success of "Make it in the Emirates," a leading industrial growth and investment event, which will be held there for the first time in 2025. The event expanded to 68,000 square metres and attracted over 122,000 visitors and participants, marking a twentyfold increase from its previous edition.

Major Manufacturing Events at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi

The AM Conclave Middle East will unite the entire Additive Manufacturing and 3D Printing ecosystem in the region. This event will include a conference centred on applications and technology, highlighting recent advancements and trends in Additive Manufacturing. International delegates will participate in this two-day conference.

A key trend in UAE manufacturing is adopting advanced solutions like Additive Manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and Artificial Intelligence. These innovations boost efficiency and reduce reliance on imported technologies, positioning the UAE as a leader in manufacturing innovation.

The Ajban Defense Industry & Technology Exhibition is an exclusive event aimed at fostering partnerships between UAE defence manufacturers and local suppliers. Held at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi for the first time, it seeks to decrease reliance on foreign imports and boost national self-sufficiency in defence production.

By promoting direct engagement, this exhibition supports the country's vision of increasing in-country value within the manufacturing supply chain. It contributes to economic growth through capital retention, supplier expansion, job creation, and new business opportunities.

ADNEC's Role in Industrial Growth

Hosting these events highlights ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi's commitment to strengthening critical industries within the UAE. It provides a platform for knowledge transfer and empowers future manufacturing developments in the region.

More than 720 local and international organisations showcased innovative technologies and solutions during "Make it in the Emirates." This reinforced the National Strategy for Industry and Advanced Technology by demonstrating cutting-edge advancements within various sectors.

The focus on additive manufacturing at these events underscores its importance in advancing industrial capabilities. By bringing together experts from around the world, these conferences aim to drive innovation and collaboration within the UAE's growing manufacturing sector.
